8-Day Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing Through Lemosho Route

Overview

The 8 Days 7 Nights Lemosho Route is widely regarded as one of the best and most scenic ways to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Beginning on the remote western side of the mountain, the route offers breathtaking landscapes, excellent acclimatization, and one of the highest summit success rates of all Kilimanjaro routes.

The trek takes you through lush rainforest, the expansive Shira Plateau, alpine meadows, volcanic landscapes, and glacier-covered summit zones before reaching Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa. The extra day allows for better altitude adjustment, making the climb safer, more comfortable, and increasing the chances of reaching the summit.

The Lemosho Route is ideal for first-time climbers with good fitness as well as experienced trekkers seeking a quieter and more scenic Kilimanjaro adventure.
