6-Day Mount Kilimanjaro Climb via the Machame Route

Overview

The 6 Days Machame Route is one of the most popular and rewarding ways to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Commonly known as the "Whiskey Route," it is famous for its spectacular scenery, varied landscapes, and excellent summit success rate.

This route begins on the southern slopes of Kilimanjaro and takes climbers through lush rainforest, heathland, moorland, alpine desert, and arctic summit zones before reaching Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa.

The 6-day itinerary follows the "climb high, sleep low" principle, helping trekkers acclimatize while enjoying iconic landmarks such as the Shira Plateau, Lava Tower, Barranco Wall, and Barafu Camp.
