Overview

Itinerary
After breakfast, depart Tarangire and travel by road towards the Ngorongoro Highlands. Enjoy the changing scenery as you journey through northern Tanzania towards the Serengeti. From the Ngorongoro Highlands, continue towards Central Serengeti, with the transfer conducted as a game drive, allowing you to begin spotting wildlife along the route. Your guide will make suitable stops for wildlife viewing and photography. Arrive in Central Serengeti and continue to Nyikan Tented Camp, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the wilderness.

After breakfast, set out for a full-day guided game drive in Central Serengeti, one of Tanzania’s most rewarding wildlife-viewing regions. Explore the open plains, kopjes and surrounding habitats in search of the Big Five and other wildlife. Look out for lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo and, with favourable sightings, rhinos, alongside cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas and many bird species. Your experienced guide will select routes based on wildlife movements and recent sightings. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day before returning to Nyikan Tented Camp.
