Experience an exciting 3-day private Big Five safari through two of Tanzania’s most renowned wildlife destinations, Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. Your adventure begins with arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and a comfortable transfer to Arusha for an overnight stay. The following day, travel by road to Tarangire for an unforgettable game drive among elephants, giraffes, lions and other wildlife before continuing to Karatu. On your final day, explore the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater on a guided game drive, offering excellent opportunities to encounter a wide variety of wildlife, before transferring directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Itinerary
After breakfast, depart Arusha Planet Lodge by road for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a scenic journey through northern Tanzania before entering the park for a guided game drive. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, seasonal wetlands and diverse wildlife. Keep watch for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions and a variety of bird species. After exploring the park, continue towards Karatu and check in at Karatu Simba Lodge, where you can relax and enjoy dinner after an exciting day of wildlife viewing.

After breakfast, proceed to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for your final guided game drive. After your crater experience, ascend and begin your road transfer towards Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
